The sports installation Nye Kreklingen Stadion was opened on 31.08.2003

The Stadium was officially opened with a football tournament for children.
The location is ideal close to two schools beautifully situated overlooking the world's longest
(205 km) and deepest (1308 m) fjord, the Sognefjord.
